Pro­fes­sional ex­pe­ri­ence as lec­turer, re­searcher and con­sul­tant at the Uni­ver­sity of Teacher Ed­u­ca­tion Zug, as re­searcher in the field of so­cial im­pact as­sess­ment in the post-​Tsunami In­done­sian province of Aceh and as pri­mary and sec­ondary school teacher at dif­fer­ent schools in the can­ton of Zurich. Cur­rently in­volved in pre-​service and in-​service teacher ed­u­ca­tion as well as in dif­fer­ent re­search and de­vel­op­ment projects, con­sul­tan­cies and lead­er­ship func­tions, fo­cus­ing on the fol­low­ing areas of in­ter­est: so­cial bound­ary mak­ing, so­cial jus­tice in and through ed­u­ca­tion, deal­ing with so­cial in­equal­i­ties and migration-​related di­ver­sity, study abroad and its learn­ing po­ten­tial, pro­fes­sional de­vel­op­ment, teach­ers with a so-​called im­mi­grant back­ground and di­ver­sity among teach­ers.
