Music schools are centres of musical education. Music and music-related arts are the focus of the schooling. Music school lessons not only teach the students musical skills but also contribute to their personal development. Municipal music school
All of the municipalities of the canton Zug run a music school, enabling students with an interest in music to learn to play an instrument of their choice. In addition to the instrument lessons, music is also practised in ensembles, orchestras and bands.
