University of Teacher Education Zug (PH Zug)
Basic and advanced training for teachers - this is the core mandate of University of Teacher Education Zug (PH Zug). The mandate also comprises research and development and the provision of services. PH Zug offers two bachelor programmes, one for pre-school and lower primary school levels (Kindergarten/Unterstufe) and one for primary school level (Primarstufe). Candidates who do not yet fulfil the admission criteria can take a part-time preparatory course for career changers.

Institute of Financial Services Zug
This Institute is a part of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – School of Business and provides courses in the fields of «Banking & Finance», «Controlling & Accounting» and «Real Estate Management». In addition, it is in charge of the respective majors within the Bachelor and Master of Science programme. It focuses also on executive education, collaborates in research and development projects and offers business consulting services.

WERZ Institute for knowledge, energy and commodities (Institut für Wissen, Energie und Rohstoffe Zug)
WERZ Institute was set up in cooperation by the Canton of Zug and HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil in 2011. At its Zug location, WERZ offers Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) courses as well as seminars and programmes for companies on the efficient use of energy and commodities in the manufacturing, trades and services sectors. It also conducts application-oriented research programmes and provides services for businesses. In addition, WERZ is the coordinator of the Swiss network for resource efficiency in the corporate world.
