IBZ Schulen are colleges of higher education with curricula accepted at federal level. They offer continuing vocational training in the following fields: structural engineering and building technology, electrical engineering and computer sciences, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and logistics, and also in business administration and management.

Their core courses cover a wide range of preparatory and higher education courses that offer either an IBZ diploma, a federal certificate of vocational training (FA), a higher professional examination (HFP), or a federal diploma in engineering.

In addition to the higher education course range, IBZ Schulen offer a Swiss Certificate of Competence (EFZ) in computer sciences and a post-graduate course in business administration (NDS HF).
