Migration and Diversity
Changing perspectives

The Institute for International Cooperation in Education is engaged in the topics migration and education. It develops ways to sensitise teachers and education professionals to the specifics of education in the context of migration and to successfully handle diversity at school. Focus areas are social inequalities, equal opportunities in education, interculturalism, racism, belonging and othering, intersectionality and diversity.
IZB conducts research on these topics, is engaged in development and cooperation projects with local school partners and offers pre-service and in-service courses. It also provides services and consultancy to interested education institutions and individuals in these areas of expertise.
