The Centre for Oral Communication (ZM) carries out a wide range of research and development projects. The ZM collaborates with various departments at the University of Teacher Education (PH Zug), including the departments of German, Foreign Languages, and Music. The ZM also works closely with regional, national, and international partners.

• Cooperating and Communicating: linguistic interaction in cooperative learning settings (2018- )
• Development of listening comprehension test tasks to verify the achievement of basic skills in primary school (2016- )
• The class council as a space of communicative practice: applying a conversation analysis approach (2018-2022)
