In case you receive your tax invoice in installments, you can decide for each installment whether to pay it with cryptocurrencies or with Swiss Francs. In the e-mail, please inform the Cantonal Tax Administration precisely about the installment(s) you wish to pay with cryptocurrencies.

In case you receive a tax invoice for your total tax liability, you cannot split it for partial payment with cryptocurrencies and with Swiss Francs. If you decide to pay with cryptocurrencies, the full amount of the invoice must be paid with cryptocurrencies.

Please make sure that the amount in Swiss Francs shown on the display corresponds to the exact amount on the tax invoice which you want to pay with cryptocurrencies (in total or installment). When scanning the QR code, the tax liability of the reported tax invoice will automatically be displayed in your app for confirmation.
