In case you re­cei­ve your tax in­voice in in­stall­ments, you can de­ci­de for each in­stall­ment whe­ther to pay it with cryp­to­cur­ren­ci­es or with Swiss Francs. In the e-​mail, plea­se in­form the Can­to­nal Tax Ad­mi­nis­tra­ti­on pre­cise­ly about the in­stall­ment(s) you wish to pay with cryp­to­cur­ren­ci­es.

In case you re­cei­ve a tax in­voice for your total tax lia­bi­li­ty, you can­not split it for par­ti­al pa­y­ment with cryp­to­cur­ren­ci­es and with Swiss Francs. If you de­ci­de to pay with cryp­to­cur­ren­ci­es, the full amount of the in­voice must be paid with cryp­to­cur­ren­ci­es.

Plea­se make sure that the amount in Swiss Francs shown on the dis­play cor­re­sponds to the exact amount on the tax in­voice which you want to pay with cryp­to­cur­ren­ci­es (in total or in­stall­ment). When scan­ning the QR code, the tax lia­bi­li­ty of the re­por­ted tax in­voice will au­to­ma­ti­cal­ly be dis­played in your app for con­fir­ma­ti­on.
