Financial Support for Incoming students

Within the Swiss-European mobility programme, PH Zug provides incoming students from Erasmus+ programme countries only with a grant of CHF 380 or CHF 440 per month. The amount depends on the country of origin (see table). The grant is calculated for a fix duration of 5 months per semester. Students from countries that don't take part in the Erasmus+ programme are also eligible for a grant through the Swiss-European mobility programme.

Students which arrive by train will get an additional Green Travel Top-Up of 200 CHF. In addition, PH Zug will pay for a half-fare card for visiting students, enabling them to benefit from reductions on all public transport (train, bus, tram, and even some boats and cable cars) in Switzerland. Additionally, a Zuger Pass Travelcard is provided for certain zones in Zug. PH Zug also offers students CHF 50 for an excursion with their buddy.

You will find the regulations for the four-week internship stays in the respective menu on the website.

Living expenses in Switzerland are relatively high, and PH Zug will do what it can, in addition to the above-mentioned support, to help visiting students contain their costs, for example by providing them with affordable housing and other discounted offers.
