Are you study­ing at one of our part­ner uni­ver­si­ties and in­ter­ested in spend­ing a var­ied and en­rich­ing se­mes­ter as a vis­it­ing stu­dent at PH Zug or in doing a four-​week school in­tern­ship in the Zug re­gion? Would you like to learn more about the Swiss ed­u­ca­tion sys­tem, broaden your prac­ti­cal ex­pe­ri­ence and fur­ther de­velop your skills as a teacher?
If so, then why not apply as a vis­it­ing stu­dent to the Uni­ver­sity of Teacher Ed­u­ca­tion Zug, which with ap­prox­i­mately 370 stu­dents claims to be a trans­par­ent in­sti­tu­tion with a lively cul­ture, per­sonal at­mos­phere and future-​oriented phi­los­o­phy. Vis­it­ing stu­dents often men­tion the strong em­pha­sis there is on ap­plied stud­ies in the form of nu­mer­ous school in­tern­ships dur­ing their stay, let alone all the sup­port and the high qual­ity lessons they re­ceive.
In­ter­na­tional Teacher Ed­u­ca­tion stu­dents on pri­mary level can choose from a va­ri­ety of Eng­lish or bilin­gual (Eng­lish/Ger­man) courses in au­tumn se­mes­ter. Ger­man speak­ing stu­dents can choose from reg­u­lar courses in both se­mes­ters. Please have a look at the de­tailed course pro­gramme for more in­for­ma­tion.

Be­sides a se­mes­ter stay it is pos­si­ble to do a four-week Teaching Practicum at one of the in­ter­na­tional schools, which are run in Eng­lish.
