Zug has one major local daily newspaper, the «Zuger Zeitung» with a special edition on Sundays called «Zentralschweiz am Sonntag». You can find some translated articles on www.thezugpost.ch.

The «Neue Zürcher Zeitung» (NZZ, from Zurich) is known for its extensive foreign news reporting. The «Tages-Anzeiger» (Tagi) has the largest circulation in the region, and the tabloid «Blick« is Switzerland's newspaper with the highest sales figures.

In addition there are several weekly newspapers which are delivered free to your home. Some of them are only distributed to certain towns, but others such as the Zuger Woche are distributed throughout the canton.
